Midwifery is a medical professional who specializes in pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal periods (including neonatal care) in addition to reproductive and sexual health throughout a woman's life. A Professional in midwifery is called midwife. Midwives are a community of midwifes who take care of women with children with the help of counsellors and referrals.
